What are your personal goals for the 2024 season?

Take more command of the offense. With me starting as a freshman last year, it was hard to step into a leadership role.

What are your thoughts on playing on special teams?

Definitely not for me, considering my position.

What is your favorite part of a Logan High School practice?

We have position meetings at the end of every practice to recap the day and go over the highs and lows of that particular day.

How much time are you spending watching game films on your own?

A good amount of time, knowing your opponents defensive scheme can be big on a Friday night.

How much time do you spend studying your playbook?

The playbook comes pretty naturally to me; that’s not too much of a problem, so not too much time.

What is your favorite weather to play in?

A nice, chilled fall evening with the sun just falling.

What is your least favorite weather to play in?

It’s got to be rainy games; you can’t sling the ball around when it’s wet.

What is the strongest part of your game?

My ability to throw on the run helps me in so many ways and helps me make dynamic plays others can’t.

Would you rather start the season with your rival or end the season with them? Explain

Start it off with them, for sure. The stands would be packed and the energy would be crazy, and it sets the tone for the rest of the season.

What will it take for the 2024 Logan team to not only produce a winning record but also make a deep playoff run?

We just need to play with confidence and start fast. If we can do both of those things, we can hang out with anyone.

During your athletic career, in any sport, at any age, what has been your biggest moment?

Breaking school history and being the first freshman to ever start at quarterback, for sure, was an amazing moment.

Who is the teammate you would go to if you were struggling with football-related things?

My senior receiver, Jack Walsh, is not only my receiver; he is a great friend and has taught me so much about the lessons you learn through football.

What is your favorite class or subject?

History without a doubt.

What is your favorite type of music?

I like calming music; it keeps your mind clear.

Where is the best local mom-and-pop place to grab a meal?

The kitchen in my house!
