With a year of Ohio high school football under your belt, how were things different for you than they were in Texas?

It’s a different pace of play up here, and the organization is a different than Texas.

What are you looking forward to the most this season?

Showing our work Nov-July and all our get back

Would you rather play your rival to open the season or to end the regular season?

To end it. So both teams are full speed, and it’s high stakes.

What was the high point of the 2023 season?

Winning at home on our homecoming was fun.

What are your goals for the team this season?

Win the GMC.

What part of your game do you believe is the strongest?

My mental/knowledge of the game and ability to make the throws others wouldn’t think of

What camps have you attended this off-season, along with the biggest things you have been able to learn?

No camps

How much game film do you watch with the team and then on your own?

Shoot, we got meetings everyday in season and I’m watching our practices by myself at least 3 times plus our game film.

For you as the quarterback, which type of weather do you prefer to play in?

72 sunny with 0 wind 

What is the best part of playing quarterback?

Touching the ball every play, knowing where everyone is, and the mental games

What is the toughest part of being a quarterback?

Being dependent on a lot of factors

What advice would you give a young guy who wants to play quarterback?

Your throwing will come; you gotta work on that, but get your feet right and know more than everyone else.

Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?

Snowboarding, shoes, and video games

We fell short last season, but we are coming back stronger. My personal goals were to be a full-time starter and contribute to my team's success.
