What was it like to win another state title last year?

Winning another state title felt great, and I was glad to be part of it. I'm really glad I experienced it, and I'm excited and ready to start my new journey at Trinity in my senior year.

You have made a major change this year. Would you share with the readers what the change was and why you made it?

I know a lot of people are wondering why, and they see I have made a change to switch schools for my senior year. St. Ed is a great school, and it will always be a love for them, but I had to depart for more film and to start my own journey and work harder for myself.

What are your goals for the season?

My goals for the season are to be a leader and a great team captain for Trinity High School, have 1000 or more rushing yards and 50 or more tackles, and bring Trinity to the playoffs with a positive record.

What is the strongest part of your game?

The strongest part of our team is how we have a connection with the offense and defense. We communicate so well, and we are getting tied together as a team because we are all on a mission.

Which aspect of your game must you improve on to be not only a better player but also a better teammate?

The aspect I have to improve on as a player and teammate is talking more and getting faster.

What makes for a good teammate?

What makes for a good teammate is just bringing everyone up together and not down. If somebody makes a mistake, just move on to the next play and uplift them.

Who is the best player that you have played against in a game, along with the team that he played for?

The best player I went against as a kid was my best friend, Khylan Osbey. We were so close, so it was a friendly competition, and we both competed very hard and did well, but, you know, we came out with the win.

Where should the state finals be held?

In my opinion, the state finals should be held in Florida because that's where all the athletes are and more people would show up.

If you are invited to play in any of the after-season all-star games, will you?

If I am invited to play in any all-star games, yes, I might, but not if I am committed and going to play in college just for injury purposes.

What would you say to the seventh grader who wants to go out for football?

I would just say good luck to that player and bring him to his fullest.

Do you feel as though you and your teammates are role models to the younger kids who come and root for you?

Yes, I feel as if my teammates are role models, and we actually helped some kids that came through.

What is your go-to snack?

My go-to snacks are skittles❤️

Have you ever been to a Cleveland State basketball game?

No, I haven't been to a Cleveland State basketball game.

What scares you?

One thing that scares me is losing.
