How long have you played football, along with the reasons you continue to play?

I have played football since I was 6 years old. I continue to play because of my love and passion for the sport.

What was the best part of the 2023 season?

I would have to say the best part of the 23rd season was growing team chemistry and beating our rivals twice.

What was the toughest part of the 2023 season?

The toughest part of the 23 season was losing a lot of guys through injury. Also, the last game with the seniors and saying goodbye to them.

What are your goals for the 2024 season?

My goals for the 2024 season are to rush for 1000+ yards and 10+ touchdowns. I would also like to win a sectional and regional championship.

What is the toughest part of a tri-high school practice?

The toughest part of practice is conditioning. At first, it’s not fun, but when you realize you’re building the stamina that you need for a four-quarter game, it’s not so bad.

Who is the best player that you have ever faced in a game, along with the team he played for?

The best player I faced was #7 Mason Greene from Milan High School. He was a beast at outside linebacker and got in the backfield a lot.

Looking at just the road games that you have played, which stadium has been your favorite?

Milan High School had brand new turf that year, and it felt amazing on my feet. Also, the fans were on their feet for the whole game.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete, at any age, in any sport?

My biggest moment was during the 2023 season. It was week 3 against Lincoln High School. I returned a kick and a punt, both for 73-yard touchdowns. Later in the game, my grandfather passed away, and I didn’t think much of it until the next morning, when I realized he was 73 years old when I was born, so it was like a really crazy coincidence.

Do you play in other sports for Tri? If you do, could you please list them?

I run track; my events are the 100-meter dash, 4x100-meter relay, and long jump.

Which game are you looking forward to the most? Explain?

I am mostly looking forward to our week 7 game against Knightstown; they are our rivals, and the game is at home.

Would you rather play your rival in the opening week or the last week of the season?

I would have to say the season opener when everyone is healthy. In my opinion, it would really set the tone for the rest of the season.

Do you feel you are best suited to play offense or defense?

Offense: I have such a passion for running the ball. I am stocky and quick, so I can get past defenders and break tackles.

Have you ever watched the show All-American, which is based on the life of former NFL player Spencer Paysinger?

No

Who is your favorite athlete?

My favorite athlete is Christian McCafferey. I have watched him since I was a little kid. He is a running back who can score, catch, break tackles, and outrun opponents.

Where is the best local mom-and-pop place to grab a bite?

Park Restaurant is a classic family-owned breakfast, lunch, and dinner place. It has almost every meal you can think of and tastes great.
