With this season being your first at Rock Hill, what are you looking forward to the most?
To win the conference and host a home playoff game with a winning season.
Can you share with the readers what school you played for last season, along with the positions you played?
I played for Cabell Midland High School in West Virginia, playing fullback and linebacker.
What are your personal goals for the 2024 season?
To finish with the leading tackles and sacks in school history.
What do you believe is the strongest part of your game?
I believe the strongest part of my game is getting downhill fast and being able to read where the ball is going.
What part of the game do you feel you need to improve on the most?
I feel like I need to improve on my lead blocking as a fullback and perfect my pass rush.
What are you doing during the off-season to improve your game?
I train every day after school (2:45–3:45) before team weights (4:00–5:30) and have a trainer that teaches me how to perfect my game as a linebacker/edge rusher and increase my speed. Also being in camps including UA Next, VTO, and FBU, with upcoming camps being Prepredzone, Top Gun, and many college camps.
What was the highlight of your 2023 season?
The highlight of my 2023 season was Parkersburg JV, with 8 carries, 77 yards, and 2 solo tackles.
What has been your biggest accomplishment as a football player?
My biggest accomplishment as a player is having a game-winning interception to win the County Championship in 8th grade, with the final only being 3-0.
As an athlete, in any sport, what has been your most embarrassing moment?
Only scoring 3 points in a basketball game last season.
What was the first thing you said to your new teammates when you met them?
I told them I’m here to win a championship, and we are going to train as hard as possible leading up to the season to accomplish the goal of winning a championship, and I will always have their back.
I was told you are one heck of a linebacker. What is the toughest part of playing that position?
The toughest part of playing linebacker is having to know what every position has to do on each play.
What is the worst type of weather to play in?
The worst type of weather to play in is snowy weather because it noticeably affects your playing in games.
What is your favorite type of music?
My favorite types of music are rap and old country.
What is your go-to snack?
My go-to snack is skittle gummies and check-mix.
What is the one food you cannot eat?
I cannot eat sea food.
