What is the toughest aspect of being a student-athlete at Villa Angela St. Joseph?

The old building has no AC and gets very hot.

What are your personal goals for the 2024 season?

Get more exposure and put my name out there.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete in any sport?

When I got my first varsity sack 

What is the toughest part of practice?

Ups and downs, and how long were we out there when we messed up a play?

In watching some of your Hudl highlights, you look like you enjoy hitting people. Is there a college or pro player you pattern your game after? List the players. 

Micah Parsons loves watching his film and how he is able to bend the edge.

What task on your schedule do you enjoy accomplishing the most?

Finishing a squat when lifting 

What is the strongest part of your game?

Pass rushing 

What part of your game must you improve on the most to become a better player?

Spilling the pulling guard 

Where should the state finals be held?

Ohio state

Who is the best player you have ever faced in a game, along with the team he played for?

It has to be Sean Patrick for Kenston.

How much time do you spend watching game films on your own?

1-2 hours

What is one sport you would like to play but do not have the talent to?

Basketball 

Have you ever been to a Cleveland Monsters game?

No, I haven't, but I would love to see one.

What is your favorite sports movie?

Remember the Titans

In 2023, we won an overtime thriller against DuBois Area 14–13, avenging a 1-point loss at the 1-yard line the year prior.

  Braylon Sturgill Ironton High School LB/FB 2025 What were your goals entering the 2023 season, and were you able to achieve those goals? Our goal every year is simple: win a state championship. We fell short last season, but we are coming back stronger. My personal goals were to be a full-time starter and contribute to my team's success.
