What were your goals entering the 2023 season, and were you able to achieve those goals?

I was able to achieve my goals of being an amazing leader for my team and continuing to get good grades. There’s always more work to be done in the future to better myself and the team.

What was the high point of the 2023 season?

I would say the game we fought against West Carrollton. Unfortunately, I  was out with a hip injury, but the team prepared mentally and physically to beat them. Even though I was out, it was an amazing night for all of us.

What was the low point of the 2023 season?

When we played our last game in the playoffs, unfortunately, we lost, but it was an amazing experience with my team.

What are you going to miss the most from the 2024 class?

My graduating teammates were more than teammates to me. They’re family, and forever will be. I’m going to miss the preparation for the games with them.

What did you learn about yourself during the 2023 season that you can put to use to be a better player this season?

During the 2023 season, I learned how vocal I can be with my team. I’m an amazing leader for my team, and I hope to lead them very far this upcoming season.

Who was the best player that Stebbins faced during the 2023 season, along with the team he played for?

I’d say that Jahari Ward and the Troy Trojans were the hardest teams to play.

Which was the worst road stadium to play in during the 2023 season, along with what made it so bad?

I’d say playing our playoff game in Troy. Due to it being a grass field andthe fact that it rained the night before,.

What have you been doing during the off-season to be a better player this coming season?

I’ve been keeping my grades up, keeping my body healthy, and continuing to work harder and harder to perform my best this season and to be able to give my all for my coaches and my teammates.

What has been your biggest accomplishment as an athlete?

My biggest accomplishment as an athlete so far would be starting varsity as a freshman. I know there’s a lot more accomplishments on the way, as well as continuing to work hard for a chance to get an offer to play at the next level.

Track or football—which one do you enjoy more? Explain

I enjoy football more than anything. The experience of playing for the team and everyone in the stands, the chance to play under the lights, and the chance to make everyone around you proud are unbeatable.

What has been your most embarrassing moment as an athlete?

I would say there isn’t anything that is embarrassing. Playing this sport since I could remember and making so many friends and family due to football comes with no embarrassment.

Do you feel that private schools have an unfair advantage over public schools?

Yes, I’d say that going to a private school gives you a better education.

Who is your role model?

My role model, I’d have to say, would be my family overall. The one person that I couldn’t possibly be where I am today without would be my dad. He not only prepared me for football; he prepared me for the world. He has been coaching me since childhood and teaching me that everything I know is worth more than anything in the world.

What scares you?

What scares me the most is having a career-ending injury.

What is your favorite place to grab a bite?

My favorite place to eat is Longhorn with my family.
