Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.

Last season was big for us; we had been getting pushed around the past few years, and we finally got to push back a little bit and show some other teams what we’re made of. We had a lot of seniors, and our whole team had such a tight bond. It was a true brotherhood.

What was the highlight of the 2024 season?

Beating Linden McKinley at home Week 11

Which part of your game do you feel is the strongest?

I feel like I am strongest throwing the ball in the pocket. I trust my offensive line, and I trust my receivers.

What type of defense do you like facing the best?

I like defenses with low-disciplined secondaries; when a safety or corner bites heavy on play action, it makes my life 10 times easier.

How would you describe your style of play?

Calm, I like trying to keep my composure and play with a level head.

Is there a pro or college quarterback that you pattern your game after?

Tyler Tettleton, I loved watching him play at Ohio U when I was super little; he’s one of the reasons I play football today.

If you could take on a game from the schedule and move it to any stadium in the country, where are you playing the game, and who are you playing?

I’m playing Nelsonville-York at home on Senior Night; I wouldn’t move it.

How do you help a teammate that is having a bad game or practice?

Communicate with them and go from there.

What is the toughest aspect of being a quarterback?

Staying calm and not letting emotions affect my body language or play.

What is the best part of being the quarterback?

The best part of being a quarterback at Athens is the offensive line I have in front of me; I know they have me covered. I talk to other quarterbacks, and they don’t get the protection that I get, so I am grateful for my O-line.

What is your game day routine?

Wake up, go to school, get Subway, chill at Weston’s grandma’s house, and go play.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you?

I haven’t really thought about that yet; I’m sure I would go compete, though.

Would you share with the readers some of the colleges that you are hearing from?

n/a

What are you doing for fun outside of sports?

I love fishing and hanging out with friends.

What is your go-to snack?

Go to Snack has to be some McDonald’s every once in a while.

Have you been to any Ohio Bobcats games?

Yes
